Acne and pimples are something that we all deal with at least once in our life. While dealing with acne is a task on its own, it is again difficult to tackle the marks it leaves. Plus, if you are impatient like me and cannot deal with a pimple without bursting it, you know you’re in it for the long haul.. Whether you like to get pushed in the well of acne marks like me or are patient with your acne but do still end up with scars, you’ve come to the right place. Acne scars are pesky and leave blemishes and dark spots all around the face. No matter how many expensive products you try, it does not always work. So today, we’re here to show you 2 easy ways to deal with acne marks at the comfort of your home.
Aloe Vera and Vitamin E
As cliche as aloe vera on this list looks like, trust us when we say that it works. You just need to get your lazy self to follow a routine for at least a week to see the visible difference. Aloe vera is truly a miracle ingredient that helps in dealing with skin blemishes and pigmentation making it the perfect ingredient to deal with acne scars.
All you need to do is scoop out the green gel off an aloe vera leaf and mix it with vitamin E. Apply it twice a day to see visible changes in a week or two.
PRO TIP: If you don’t grow the aloe vera plant in your own house, avoid using it. Planted aloe vera can sometimes be infected or filled with pesticides or chemicals and if you have sensitive skin, don’t use it. Instead, opt for organic gels that you get in supermarkets.
Tea Tree oil
We know that applying oil on acne-prone skin sounds extremely weird but trust us when we say that tea tree oil does create miracles. It’s a great ingredient to include in your skincare routine as it helps deals with scars and blemishes.
All you need to do is dilute tea tree oil with coconut oil and apply it to your acne scars. Leave it on for an hour or overnight to see changes in two weeks.
As an added tip, make sure you patch test these home remedies. Every skin type is different, so you need to listen to the signs of your body before trying it out.
