LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) – On Monday Floyd Valley Community Health will activate their COVID-19 vaccine phone line.
The line will open at 8 a.m. on Monday. Those 65-years and older and live in or doctor with healthcare providers in Plymouth County can call (712) 546-3646.
People who call will be asked to leave a message with your name and contact information. You will then be placed on a waiting list to be called once future vaccine allocations are received.
People are asked to only call once as staff will call you as soon as they are able to get you scheduled.
Officials say for people coming in for their vaccination to not arrive early, as Floyd Valley Community Health has to observe social distancing when vaccines are being issued, and those receiving their vaccines have to wait for 15 minutes during an observation period.
People receiving their vaccine are also asked to wear a mask, bring their driver’s license and insurance card for the appointment.
