Hermione Underwood has recently been appointed the UK CEO of leading Australian wellness brand JSHealth Vitamins, as part of their continued global expansion. As UK CEO, Underwood is responsible for building the brand’s European operations and team, liaising daily with the company’s global CEO and company directors to make top level logistics, operating and marketing decisions. Underwood’s aim is to continue JSHealth’s expansion into Europe, securing it as a household name and recognised brand in the health care sector.
JSHealth is an Australian health and wellness brand, founded in 2018 by clinical nutritionist and one of Australia’s most highly regarded wellness experts Jessica Sepel. JSHealth pride themselves in producing products that are backed by science, formulated alongside leading health experts, to ensure each product is produced honestly, resulting in ground breaking results that are sustainable. The brand has continued to progress its international expansion and was introduced to the UK market at the start of 2020, where it continues to grow.
Underwood grew up in Sydney, Australia, where she attended the University of Technology and majored in Communications. Underwood has always exuded a business mind and entrepreneurial streak, both of which brought her to the UK in her early 20’s. Enthusiastic about communications Hermione then went on to launch her successful PR company The H Collective, where she continued to grow and consult to a network of clients both UK and global, carving out a unique expertise in launching international brands into the UK market.
Being an expert in communications, Underwood used her savvy skills to launch brands of her own, including jewellery company Atelier Romy and wine brand Amie, which she ‘created’ whilst in the first Covid-19 London lockdown, bringing the brand to market in 6.5 weeks from idea to fruition.
When not at work Underwood has a passion for both photography and writing. She’s also quietly obsessed with personal development and spirituality, recently incorporating meditation into her day-to-day life.
A quote she likes to live by comes from her grandad, Sir Frank Espie, who said: ‘The harder I worked, the luckier I became’.
