PFAR (Pasadena Foothill Association of Realtors) Education introduces “Mental Health in 2021,” a new mental health series, a one-hour motivational session and 6-week live virtual yoga series, beginning Tuesday, February 23.
“As an association we are truly invested in the mental wellness of our real estate community, which is vital to serving the diverse needs of our community,” said PFAR President Barry Storch.
“The emergence of the national pandemic,” he continued, “has had a tremendous impact on how real estate professionals do business and we are proud to deliver a much-needed program with the support of the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) Education Foundation and our local AOR partners.”
PFAR has joined forces with C.A.R. Education Foundation and other local Associations to create the series to address the rise in mental health cases that has resulted from the pandemic.
The session will be led by Hank Fortner, national speaker, entrepreneur, activist and founder of Adoptogether.org on Tuesday, February 23, and will follow with a 6-week yoga series beginning Wednesday, February 24, with national instructor Carmen Fitzgibbon. Fitzgibbon has studied Yoga since 1994, practicing in the Ashtanga system as well as being a certified Lyengar teacher.
