BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — In support of “National Wear Red Day”, The Security Mutual Building in Binghamton will shine red Feb. 5.
This special day brings awareness to heart disease. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), heart disease is the number one killer of Americans.
The AHA says heart disease is 80% preventable through making life style choices, such as getting exercise, eating better and not smoking or vaping.

“This year we think it’s more important than ever to help spread the word of the many simple, positive steps people can take to improve and
protect their heart health,” he said in a recent news release.
